Gum and Muscle
Today was supposed to go like this: 9am-12nn Squash, 9am-12nn Softball, 11am to 1pm Badminton, Free time in between go Library do thesis research, 5.15pm -8pm Friendly vs SIM, 9pm-11pm Soccer, 11pm-1am Floorball.
But I skipped out on a few and even then, I still feel so tired and drained and my strained quadricep is still strained... and getting worse. So my performance during the friendly was just... not worth mentioning after a while, because it was just... so lacklustre! Started off on such a good note too... =/ Sigh.
Then skipped out on soccer training to go have dinner with the lovely teammates, hoping to cheer up a bit. Only well, the gum around my growing wisdom tooth started swelling and hurting, until one side of my cheek is now obviously rounder than the other. Like a chipmunk storing food in its cheeks. It even hurt when I ran. Wow.
Not a good day really -- can only hope everything starts picking up soon.
Nevertheless, the pulled quadricep really puts everything into perspective. As much as I'd like to live up to expectations and obligations for hall, it is worth nothing if IVP comes at the expense of trying to fulfill all these. Nothing. Simply reaffirms my faith that for me, right now, IVP is really my topmost priority, and thankfully, the poor neglected thesis is eventually gaining some importance too. Get my goals right, put my 100% and I know it will come.
Complete rest for five days after tomorrow's IVP training. And a visit to the dentist if required. Darn. Me no like dentists -.-''
