Bubbling
That's it, I've found it!
Chanced upon a blog of an ABC in Tokyo and then linked to a travel-holic's blog from that one and I have just found my next adventure - WWOOFFing.
There's an excitement bubbling so slowly but intensely inside me that I just know this is going to be the next direction in life. Well okay direction would be the wrong word, but perhaps the next guiding stone. Since JC and especially with Uni, I've always been unconsciously trying to find experiences and seek out activities/programs that will help me open my eyes and provide different perspectives - in other words, help me grow. Sometimes, I will chance upon something that just strikes me so hard that I zoom onto it with nary a thought more; and those are the times when I will feel this deep bubbling excitement within - a feeling not simply or naively joyful but more importantly, laced with the tinge of fear and the intuitive knowledge that this is going to be life-changing. Okay fine, maybe not always life-changing always but definitely eye-opening. So it's happened with hockey (the decision to stay then to take up captaincy), then with Hall (and even within the various activities like choir and wardrobe) and then with US.P writing (the recognition that I am challenging myself intellectually rather than staying put comfortably) and WAT and of course this DDP that I'm on now. And yes, the feeling's back again.
Though it might be another 2 years before I can actually get to do this WWOOFF, I'll still pocket the excitement and put it away temporarily. I just know it will lift me up in times when I need it most.
I'm so ...excited.
Just in case I need a reminder ever again:
