A Triangle of Visits

Missed the closing time of the Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery yesterday, so made my way down today instead.

Somehow, the song that unconsciously played in my head turned out to be 21 Guns.

"Do you know what you're fighting for... Do you know what is worth dying for..."

Do we ever really know...? Who judges the worth? This ability of humans, of mankind to supposedly believe in something so whole-heartedly that you're willing to die for it... How does it come about?? How does it work? Tinbergen's four questions lol. Funny how my courses meld together sometimes... but that's exactly how I think knowledge should interact. And also a beauty of the brain - never compartmentalising emotions, memories, titbits of information; instead meshing them all up, without regard for chronology, circumstances or supposed associations. It does it's own mixing and does its own association however it wants, thank you.

Finally called up the airlines today, and a sense of inexplicable uh-oh is starting to just sink... very very slowly...

very very slowly...

Time to run off for practice again.
