home, house, or a rubbish dump?

I just came home to find a huge bed frame with a full-sized single bed, plonked right in the middle of what used to be my room. Indeed, beds are supposed to come in the middle of a room I guess, but not when the middle was all the empty space that was left. Now I can't even open my wardrobe doors, nor walk across it. I don't get it... How can anyone live like that?! Mess and clothes and books and dust all round!

And I hear from my brother that my dad wants to cut off the internet and phone package, and that we actually have been paying for a cable tv subscription all this time! Except we don't have a television in our house. The reason for cutting off the internet? To cut expenses. What about internet to do work? Use your smartphone. ...Whattttt??

I don't get it. How can someone who's been making close to $8000 a month with almost the same amount in bonuses, be so short of cash that he's wanting to cut out such 'expenses'?? Cutting where he shouldn't be and spending where he shouldn't be spending either... I really don't get it. But one thing I'm damn sure of - I'm definitely not going to repeat the same pattern when I start working.
