Just came back from the 9-hour Championship celebration party cum J's farewell gathering. T-i-r-e-d. But somehow, a happy flame is quietly burning within too. =)
I feel like I crossed a barrier of sorts with some (Yu-?), maintained a growing relationship with some (Mih-, Nat-), learnt more Japanese words, and even received a compliment! of sorts.
Taj- was saying that today I was dressed up (o-sha-re in Japanese) but I guess that's only cuz he often only sees me in sports wear. And then somehow the conversation continued on to like when he and others were in Sgp this March for the championships, he and Sh-h- had walked along Orch-d Rd and thought that I was cuter than most of the other Sgp'eans they saw there. Probably one huge lie and really quite unbelievable but still, I'll take the compliment anyway! Thanks =P Been some time since I've had one. Always a great ego boost no? =P Still remember the one from Utah at BC FDesk. And well, I guess I gave up vehemently protesting after a while because my Japanese is THAT limited. Sigh.
Only 3 more months (= 12 more Monday trainings omgosh so fast iyada yo~!); time really flies. But despite the small financial burden, the random stabs of doubts and loneliness, and the long, expensive journeys, suddenly I realised that it really was all quite worth it. Even I can feel that my Japanese has slowly improved; but more than that, it's helped me find the love and time for a sport that I couldn't care less for, just a year ago. Only 3 more months? Scratch that. Still 3 more months to go! =)
