Opinions and Travelling

Today was spent showing ht, cl and 3 others around Tsukiji, Akihabara, Ueno and Asaskusa. Didn't felt like much but on hindsight, certainly seems quite a bit doesn't it?

Despite the rain + not knowing the 3 others, it felt like the day actually went by pretty okay - until the last part. Somehow, just felt like the dinner ended on a below mediocre note for me. I don't like compromised feelings. Much less compromised meals. Food is that important to me huh. Or maybe, it's just a reflection of how I like to live my life - really, truly, madly, deeply IN my life. Not just doing actions and activities that I feel will just sustain me.

And I suddenly realised that I - who already have so many opinions about so many many things - have just found a new realisation about myself: I think people should have opinions about travelling. They should know what they want to do, would like to see, would love to eat, or wouldn't mind trying; they should make an effort to at least pick the best way of travelling for themselves, and not just float by on others' likes and plans. Especially this being graduation trip too! Wouldn't you want your final trip as a carefree student to be an awesome closure, transition and start to a new chapter in your book of life?!

I just don't get it.
