A Night of =)

Last night was... indescribable. Indescribably comfortable, indescribably spontaneous and indescribably fun!

Is-, Jf, Wf, Sh, Ian, Lx and me. Started with sg food night at lx's place - chicken curry and bak kut teh - then playing zhou ji mi ma with the leftovers (ALOT) and I struck 4 times omg. Chinese shabu shabu tabehoudai last night with Osaka trip group and then now this?! I think my stomach will soon be twice the size that it used to be gosh. Then rushing for the last train, and Jf and sh missed their last train so it was either cab from Tokyo or overnight ktv ... and overnight ktv it was!

5 hours of karaoke, 5 people, emo songs, jap songs, happy trashy songs, old dialect songs, chinese pop, etc etc. It was soft drink tabehoudai too and I think I drank like 7 glasses at least. Came home to crash at 7am, and feeling just a little sicker than before. But so good inside =)


Hands down the best night - hell, the best time I've had.

(ps. I'm never going karaoke with dc and yc again pfft. honestly felt like a waste of money compared to this gosh.)

planning = headache

Planning trips, vacation things to do , weighing money vs opportunities, applying for jobs, searching for jobs, getting a job... basically just deciding on one option out of so many is SUCH a headache.

Spring break's coming in less than a month - almost just half a month away actually - and I still have no clue what to do. Homestay sounds interesting - so probably will apply for that. Not sure if I will get it though, since spaces are so limited. And possibly backpacking/exploring around from then? Since I'm out of Tokyo anyway right. But then, for how long? To where? And how much? And what about the Mt. Fuji trip? But I will miss the last training before our semi-final match though? Okay and what totally happened to the plan that I will find a job for these 2 months? Oh and wwoofing? Ah, and Korea? HK with Heng? Not to forget Hiroshima with Is-?

Wow. No wonder I have a headache huh.

Spring break is coming - but it's not here yet. Which means exams are soon too. Maybe I should be focusing on that first huh... Especially after the 60% essay scare yesterday.

Dinner =)

Dinner tonight: wagyu sirloin steak, fried potatoes, spinach seasoned with mirin, and a sunny-side up. すごく美味しかった！

Saw the wagyu sirloin 30% off at Seiyu and I just couldn't resist! Ever since I tried wagyu beef in Kobe last week, it's been haunting me. Such tender juiciness from every bite - heaven really. I stood at the meat counter for a good 5-10 minutes trying to decide if I should get the 2 huge steaks at 50% off or just not be greedy (and save abit more money) by just getting the 1 steak at 30% off. The one steak was 942yen after 30% discount, and add 20yen (10yen for each potatoe) for the fried potatoes, 40yen for the spinach (~1/4-1/3 of the whole bunch for 128yen) and 16yen for the 1 sunny-side-up on the side = a wholesome hearty DELICIOUS meal for less than 1200yen! A piece of the same meat costs about 3000yen at a restaurant...

And the dinner ended with a little bit of the amazingly fragrant and smooth 梅酒 that Isabel and I bought back from Kobe... Ahh, life is good. =)
